Pecan Date Toast

Put:
8 slices whole grain bread/muffins
(or how many you want)
in a toaster or toaster oven & toast.

(Date Mixture)
Put in a blender:
1 c pitted dates
1/2 c almond butter (taste for freshness)

or coconut butter
or combination
1/8 t salt
1/2 c water

& blend for 30 sec.
Pour in a small bowl.

Spread:
2 T of the Date Mixture
on each toasted bread or muffin.

Top with:
1 - 2 T pecans (taste for freshness)

Cut each toasted bread or muffin in half & serve.

Date Mixture freezes well, just stir when thawed.
