Whipped Topping


Put:
1 1/2 c slivered almonds
(or put in a bowl with 2 c water
& soak for 5 hr. or overnight
in the fridge & then drain)
1/8 t salt
1/3 c pure maple syrup
1 1/4 c water (or 1 c if you soak them)
in a blender & blend for 1 - 2 min.
Pour in a bowl or jar.
Serve
or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezes well, just stir after thawing.
