Creamy Italian Dressing
Put:
1 1/4 c cashews
or 1 c slivered almonds
1 1/2 t basil
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t parsley
1 1/2 t salt
1/3 c lemon juice
2 T virgin olive oil
2 t honey
1 c water
in a blender & blend for 1 - 2 min.
Add to the blender & stir in:
1/2 t oregano
Pour in a bowl or jar.
Chill & serve
or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezes well, just stir after thawing.
