Coconut Muesli
(Can be made the day before,
refrigerate overnight,
& serve in the morning.)
(Muesli Mixture)
To make the oatmeal more digestible, dextrinize it by putting:
4 c rolled oats
or any rolled grain
in a large skillet.
Cook 5 - 7 min. on med. heat
while stirring continually.
Pour in a large bowl.
Add:
1 c raisins
1/3 c walnuts, pecans
or sliced almonds
1/4 c pumpkin or sunflower seeds
1/2 c unsweetened
shredded coconut or flakes
1 T whole flax seeds
or 2 T ground flax seeds
1/4 t coriander
1/2 t salt
to the large bowl & stir.
For Serving the Entire Recipe
Add:
5 c water or RecipeRICH Milks
to the large bowl & stir.
Let soak 5 hrs. or overnight in the refrigerator. Stir & serve.
For Individual Portions
Put:
1 c of the Muesli Mixture
3/4 - 1 c water or RecipeRICH Milks (depending
on how much liquid you like in your Muesli)
in a bowl, stir & soak the same.
