Almond Cheese Dip
Put:
1 1/2 c whole raw almonds
or 1 2/3 c slivered almonds
2 garlic cloves
1 1/4 t salt
1/3 c lemon juice
3 T virgin olive oil
3/4 c water
in a blender & blend for 1 - 2 min.
Pour in a bowl.
For variety, can add:
2 t dill, herbs de provence,
or rosemary
& stir.
Chill & serve
or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Freezes well, just stir after thawing.
